The Center for the Culture of Dialogue is a non-profit civil organization dedicated to fight poverty, social exclusion and promoting the values of civil solidarity and social dialogue.
*Our Goals
We achieve our goals through two areas of activity:
- by providing systematic support to children and families at risk of poverty through the program “My Place Under the Sun”;
- by designing and establishing a sustainable national food donation system called Food Network.
In addition to developing its own research, advocacy, and professional capacities, the Centre for the Culture of Dialogue (CeKaDe) nurtures a genuine commitment to achieving its goals by encouraging active citizenship and civic participation. This has resulted in the creation of a broad and engaged community that follows and supports our work, composed of numerous volunteers, experts, advisors, businesses, public institutions, partner associations and organizations, and others.
*Our work
Our work is supported by more than 25 business entities, over 30 partner civil society organisations, and institutions such as the European Commission’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, the office of MEP Biljana Borzan, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Rijeka, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Rijeka, the City of Rijeka, RI2020 – European Capital of Culture, and the Ministry of Agriculture.
