Center for the Culture of Dialogue

Jelena Jakšić graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka. She currently works as a professional associate psychologist at My Place Under the Sun. She began her work experience while studying human resources, which led to working as a professional associate in kindergarten, where she was in charge of developmental assessment and providing psychological support to children and parents. Through volunteering, she participated in activities aimed at promoting mental health in the community. She is currently training to become a psychotherapist in Gestalt psychotherapy, in addition to having been educated in the field of applying psychological tests, developmental assessment, and encouraging social and emotional skills.

Marta Radić, Master of Social Pedagogy, graduated from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation in Zagreb, and during her studies and years of volunteering (Youth Centre – Oratory Rijeka, Association Ambidekster, Association Hrabri telefon), she developed a particular interest in the fields of prevention, creative working methods, and experiential and adventure pedagogy. She worked for two years at the Association Točka, where she conducted training for people working with youth and developed prevention programs for children and young people. She currently obtains the position of a professional associate – social pedagogue at CeKaDe. Marta has also taken part in three Erasmus international training programs in the field of preventive work with young population (Erasmus Study Visit “Youth Work Works: Mental Health& Wellbeing” (Belgium, May 2023),  Erasmus Training Course “Adventure Education as a Prevention Tool for Mental Health Issues” (Finland, December 2023), Erasmus Long-Term Training Course “Adventure Europe” (Germany&online, March 2024 – January 2025).

Sandra Grozdanov (born 1978.) is the president of the Center for the Culture of Dialogue’s organizational committee. She is one of the founders and the My Place Under the Sun program leader. For twelve years, she had worked as an educator at the Rijeka Kindergarten. She has organized numerous activities, such as the “Return children playgrounds and parks in the center of the city” manifestation and a sustainable development workshop at the Dolčić Kindergarten, which she initiated and organized within Rijeka’s first Green Way urban garden.Sandra Grozdanov

Ana Karakaš (born 1975.) graduated from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation and was educated as a psychotherapist and an assistant in Gestalt psychotherapy according to the Institut für Integrative Gestalttherapie Würzburg's program, with the requirement of writing and defending a graduate thesis. She conducts advisory, preventative-therapeutic, diagnostic conduct, and treatment within her expertise and lengthy volunteer work.

Nikolina Matić (born 1998.) is an employee of the Center for the Culture of Dialogue organization. She graduated in Marketing at the undergraduate study of Business Economics in September 2020 at Rijeka’s Faculty of Economics. She is a long-term volunteer at the My Place Under the Sun program, where she participated as an assistant in working with children in acting workshops, creative workshops, and studying aid.
